Co-op Local Causes

Castleford Young Musicians are delighted to have been chosen as one of Co-op Castleford's Local Causes for 2018-19.

This means as a member of Co-op, you can choose CYM as your local cause and automatically donate 1% of what you have spent on selected products and services, including food stores and electricals, to Castleford Young Musicians and help boost our Defibrillators for Castleford Appeal.

There are a number of other benefits to being a member of Co-op, including 5% of the amount you spend being returned to your account, as well as exclusive prices and offers from other Co-op businesses, including insurance, Funeralcare and legal services.

Phil, Ralph, Richard and Audrey represented CYM at the changeover event at the Castleford store on 24th November, where the outgoing causes were presented with their cheques and new causes introduced.

A fantastic total of £11,319.56 has been raised over the last 12 months for the three outgoing causes, but the Castleford store are hoping for an even bigger total for the next 12 months.
